Track reports are an extremely useful additional feature which is often overlooked in GPS tracking platforms.
Running a track report can give you useful insight into what has happened during an expedition. It enables you to see where a group have deviated from a route, or where it has been followed. It can also show what may have gone wrong after a route has been walked.
It can also be very useful for training purposes where a group can be shown where they were planned to walk using the geofences/route upload function to visualise the plan versus the track report of where they actually did walk on a practice route.
Start by logging into your manager account at the Latitude Tracking platform site.
Once you are logged into the Manager User, then click on the Reports button at the bottom of the left hand panel.

After clicking on the reports tab, another screen will open.

Once this screen is open, select the tracker you want to run the report against. Select the time period for which you want to run a report. In this case we have selected previous week, but you can select by the presets or run a custom report for a different time period from here.

Click the “Show” button to generate the report. You will see the route trace on the map in the top of the window. The details of the tracker events will be shown in the bottom pane of the display.

For general route plots, the Combined track report is simple and gives a concise overview of the route walked, which is good for most purposes.
The summary report can be used to show the distance walked over a given time period.

Positions will show you the Raw data from the trackers event position log for the journey your group has undertaken during a given time period.

Once complete, click the back arrow in the top left of the screen to exit back to the map/tracker view.
