Adding Routes

Routes are a key part of using our platform for a lot of groups.

They enable you to track your teams in real time against a known set of positions, a route card or a pre-used trail.

Routes can be uploaded to the platform in standard GPX format used by almost all sites and devices.

For example, from eDofE mapping.

Go into the plotted route in Saved routes. In the left menu, select the Export GPX function and select “Export as Track.”

Save this GPX file to your computer.

Once you have your route exported, start by logging into your manager account at the Latitude Tracking platform site.

Once you are logged into the Manager User, then click on the Settings button at the bottom of the left hand panel.

Pop over to Google in a new tab, and search for “hex colour”

It should give you this picker.

Copy the hex code and paste it back into the colour box.

Then click save.

Your route should then be shown on your main map view once you exit out of the Geofences menu.
