Map layers are a key part of online tracking. An example of a map layer would be Google maps, OpenStreetMap, or Ordnance Survey mapping.
Latitude Tracking includes multiple map layers for you to work with when administering your groups.
These map layers change the display so that you will get different features shown with your trackers positioned on top of them. They enable you to be able to see land features, such as footpaths, roads or satellite imagery and therefore determine in real time where your teams are located.
To change map layer, login to the website at Latitude Tracking either via a computer or from a mobile device.
With the interface open, select the map layers button on the right hand side of the screen. This is also available in the mobile interface in the same location.

The button will expand to a menu with a list of available map layers.
Your list may have more or less than the number shown in the graphic below.

Click on the map layer you would like to view.

You should see the base map change to the required image with your trackers in the same positions as on the previous map, but with different graphics.
